American Roots
Orchestra founding members Bill Sims, Jr. and Pat Cisarano
are both accomplished performers in their own right, each with years of
experience in performing and recording both nationally and internationally.
As the front duo of the American Roots Orchestra, they have brought together
an exciting ensemble of accomplished musicians defining the term "All-Star
Band". Among the esteemed members are trombone/tuba man Clark
Gayton, currently a member of Sting's band, and pianist George
Laks of the Lenny Kravitz band, as well as trumpeteer Kenny
Rampton and accordianist Brian Mitchell.
The Roots play American music with their collective feet planted firmly
in Blues, Jazz, Gospel, and R&B with an occasional excursion
into Broadway show tunes, Rap, or even a Bob Marley tune.
